Making a Spa Appointment
We do our best to accommodate all guests, but reservations are strongly encouraged and recommended.
A credit card will be required to hold your appointment.
Guests of Mountain Harbor Resort on Spa/Lodging packages are asked to make arrangements at the time lodging reservations are made.
If planning a wedding or other special event at Mountain Harbor, please make any spa or salon appointments at least two weeks in advance so that we may accommodate your group.
For all-day groups, we require a $250 deposit. If arrangements are cancelled 5 days prior to the event date, the deposit will be refunded.
Special Needs
Please inform us of any special needs when making your reservations. If you are dining with us, please advise of any dietary restrictions or preferences.
Cancellation Policy
As a courtesy to our professional staff, we ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you must cancel or reschedule services. Spa services cancelled without 24-hour notice or no-shows will be billed to your credit card at 50% of the service cost.
If you are a guest at Mountain Harbor Resort and cancel your room reservation, this will not cancel your spa reservations. You must contact the spa directly to cancel any spa reservations.
Parking
There is parking just above the spa and conference center. For spa guests with disabilities, there is a circular drive with direct access to the spa bridge. Handicapped parking for salon guests is on the lower level of the East Cove Conference Center.
Whisper Zone
Please be aware that the spa area, spa bridge, and Wilderness Pavilion area are Whisper Zones so that guests can have a quiet, relaxing and peaceful experience at this wilderness retreat.
Your Arrival
As a courtesy to our guests, appointments begin and end on time. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment so that we may gather some general information to ensure you receive exceptional service, as well as allow you time to change into a TCS robe, breathe, relax!
Please note that late arrival could result in a shortened service. We will make every effort to honor your original appointment length; however, we may shorten your service time to accommodate our other scheduled guests.
What to Wear
Please dress comfortably, and leave your valuables at home. We are not responsible for your valuables or personal possessions.
When you arrive, you will be shown to the changing room where you may disrobe in private and slip into a spa robe and sandals. You will be assigned a keyed locker to secure your personal belongings while in treatment. It is your personal preference whether you undress completely or wear your undergarments or a bathing suit.
Cell Phones
We ask that you turn off or mute your cell phone when in the treatment area. Even if left in your locker, the ringtone may disturb another guest.
Contraindications
You will be asked pertinent information about your health prior to your service. Please inform us if you are pregnant, have medical conditions such as high blood pressure, any allergies, diabetes, or are undergoing chemotherapy treatments as some conditions may be contraindicated for heat therapies, massage, or skin care. Please be aware that alcohol consumption is discouraged prior to, during, and after your treatment.
Massage Etiquette
Throughout your massage you will be discreetly covered as mandated by Arkansas State Law. During your treatment you will be draped with a sheet and blanket, and only the area of the body being treated will be exposed.Your therapist may terminate the massage for any use of inappropriate language or actions. If you prefer a male or female therapist, please let us know prior to your appointment, and we will try to accommodate your request. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Toiletries
We provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the changing room shower. We do ask that you limit your shower time so that we may accommodate other guests with our limited changing facilities.
Payment
We gladly accept VISA, MasterCard, and Discover. We also accept personal checks.
If a guest of Mountain Harbor Resort, you may charge any spa services or products to your room account.
Resort Fee and Pricing
All spa and salon service prices include a 5% resort fee. Retail purchases will be subject to the current state sales tax rate. Please confirm service availability and pricing at time of booking.
Gratuities
Our staff of licensed spa professionals strive to make your spa experience an especially rewarding one. If you have enjoyed your services, it is customary to leave a gratuity. Tips may be given directly to your therapist or added to your ticket at checkout. For your convenience, our spa experiences and group bookings include a 20% gratuity.
Children
We welcome spa-goers of all ages; however, children must be at least 12 years of age for any massage or skincare services. Children must be at least 6 years of age for any manicure or pedicure services. If enjoying a spa service and under the age of 12, we ask that an adult be present with the child. Small children, if quiet and respectful, are welcome in the reception area, but will not be allowed in the treatment area. If a child is disruptive, she may be asked to leave the spa area.
Pets
Mountain Harbor Resort is a pet-friendly facility. If you have questions about our pet policy, please call us before you arrive.
Hours of Operation
Hours vary based upon the season, but we are open year-round. Please review our current hours as listed on our Home Page.
We are closed Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve Day and Christmas Day.
We will be happy to make accommodations for groups, wedding parties, and other spa parties on days when we would normally be closed. Please call us at least one week prior to your requested date so that we may make arrangements.
Smoking
Smoking is permitted in the parking lot only. No Smoking within 30 feet of the spa or salon entrance.
